Family celebration in the Upper Au Chur:
Games, fun and encounters for the whole family

Chur, September 2026 – On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the birthplace of Graubünden invites you to
from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. to a colourful family festival in the Obere Au in Chur.

On the square between the ice rink, football hall and pump track, families from Chur and the region can expect a varied afternoon of games, fun and encounters.
There are numerous attractions and hands-on activities for the children: a bouncy castle, a bobby car park, face painting, chalk painting, painting cloth bags as well as a treasure hunt or a small orienteering run provide entertainment. In addition, a
children's clown and balloon artist the little visitors.
The physical well-being is also taken care of: A pizza cart and an ice cream cart offer fine catering options.
However, the family festival not only offers entertainment, but also the opportunity to get to know the birthing centre of Graubünden better. The midwives responsible for the project will be on site throughout the event and will be personally available to interested families for discussions and questions. In an informal atmosphere, visitors can learn more about the birthing centre and its services.
