Flims Mountain Films

“Flims Mountain Films” is a festival that celebrates alpine diversity in all its facets. Set in a landscape that has always inspired adventurers, filmmakers and athletes, the festival brings the world of mountain film to Flims, from skiing and snowboarding to mountain biking and mountaineering.

The festival presents a carefully curated selection of films from different areas of mountain sports. Over two evenings, the full cinematic range of mountain sports unfolds, from mountain biking, climbing and alpinism to the fascinating world of snow sports.

Athletes and filmmakers will be there in person, sharing insights into the making of their productions, the challenges they faced and the stories behind them. The evenings culminate in the Jury Award for the best film.

“Flims Mountain Films” focuses on a clear dramaturgy, strong themes and direct encounters. The festival aims not just to show alpine culture but to make it something you can experience, and to establish Flims as an inspiring meeting point for the wider mountain sports community.
