flimsfestival: Klassik Open Air I

On a peaceful, hopefully warm summer evening, we lean back on the lawn of the boarding school, listen and marvel with a view of the mountains: Fatima Dunn, the cellist and singer-songwriter, becomes the "One Woman Orchestra" on stage. With cello, voice and loop station, she superimposes pitches, layers of music and melodies and weaves them into poetic, spherical songs. Stylistically, she combines the sonic exploration of the cello with voice, synthesizer, harmonium and analog effects. This creates independent, atmospherically dense sound worlds – different every time, new every time!
