flimsfestival: Montags im Museum

This year, "The Yellow House" presents itself in a very unusual way: The house becomes a stage, which has also prompted us to give an extraordinary concert: We give a carte blanche to Jürgen Grözinger alias DJ Jueri. The Berlin-based musician, composer, curator and sound innovator combines classical percussion and contemporary music with immersive sound worlds in his work and removes genre boundaries with his "Listenig Lounges". In doing so, he is always inspired by the audience, space and time and is on the move between people, ideas, times and sound habits. The innovative artist is considered THE classical music DJ and has worked with renowned cultural institutions, ensembles and artists such as Hélène Grimaud or Janine Jansen, as well as playing in legendary clubs such as Berghain and Watergate. Jürgen Grözinger is also the founder and artistic director of the European Music Project, which deals with the interface between contemporary music, improvisation, performance and club culture. The evening at the Yellow House moves between concentrated listening and a relaxed atmosphere - a space in which history and the present merge. A concert that reinvents itself in a place that will soon look completely different again - a unique opportunity!
