Be part of the National Hedge Day! Together with agriculture and employees of the Parc Ela association, wild hedges are planted and maintained. During the work, you will learn how this sensitive habitat can be preserved and upgraded. You will learn about the most common hedge shrubs and what possible uses there are for their fruits. Catering will be provided.

The Hedge Care Volunteer Day takes place in Parsonz, Surses.

Procedure of the operation: 09:20 Welcome at the meeting point and transfer to the place of work 09:45 Introduction 10:00 Hedge planting and fencing 12:00 Lunch offered by the farm 13:00 Hedge planting and fencing ev. Hedge care 16:00 Closing and afternoon snack

In between, there are various inputs on various environmental topics (e.g. edible berries & herbs, hedge as habitat, plant diversity...)

Preconditions: Enjoyment of working in nature, surefootedness on uneven terrain

Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, gloves (if available)

Catering: Lunch and afternoon snack will be organized.
