Glenner-Exkursion ab Ilanz

In order to experience the Glenner, its diverse floodplains in the lower and upper reaches as well as the idyllic confluence with the Valserrhein for yourself, Umwelt Graubünden invites you to hike with expert guidance.

Head: Kaspar Schuler, President of the Environment of Graubünden; Ecological expert support by Erik Olbrecht, water revitalization expert

Meeting point: 09:00 Ilanz train station, at the post bus stop
Closing: 16:15 Ilanz

Hiking time: 4 hours in total, with a lunch break and short bus rides in between.

Registration: by Friday 21 August 2026 at the latest.

Cost: CHF 25.00 per person, please take it with you in cash.

Equipment: Mountaineering boots with good grip and tread reaching above the ankles, hiking and rain gear, lunch and snacks, drinks; Hiking poles are ideal in sometimes steep terrain.

Insurance is the responsibility of the participants

Bad weather: On Thursday evening, August 27, all registered participants will be informed by email whether the hike has to be carried out or cancelled due to bad weather.
