Description
The Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden presents "Heidi"
Friday, 26th February 2027, 5.00 p.m. in the multi-purpose hall Sala Grava, Savognin
The doors open at 4.30 p.m.
The film classic Heidi from 1952 experiences a very special rediscovery. The black-and-white feature film based on Johanna Spyri's world-famous tale is still considered the most poetic and impressive film adaptation of the story about the orphan girl Heidi. She lives with her bitter grandfather, the Alpöhi, in the Bündner mountains and prefers to spend her days with Geissenpeter. One day she is torn from this familiar world and ends up in Frankfurt, where she meets the physically disabled Klara.
The Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden plays the film music by Robert Blum live to the images. The live music production has been specially reworked by Swiss composer and arranger Raban Brunner and celebrates its world premiere in 2027 – on the occasion of the 200th birthday of Johanna Spyri. Film and music merge into a unique and particularly nostalgic concert experience that brings a significant piece of Swiss film history to life.
