Hike wayside shrines Lantsch

Various mudslides and floods repeatedly threatened the meadows and fields as well as the village of Lantsch itself. Despite advances in torrent control, the residents of Lantsch, who are rooted in the Catholic faith, did not solely rely on the technical improvements in flood defenses. The wayside shrines are all located in the threatened area. They are simple structures made of masonry with a slab roof. The shrines are dedicated to patron saints.
