HINTERBERGEN
Description
In their new in-house production, the Engadine ensemble "LÄSER&BÄRTSCH TanzTheater" tells the story of being an artist away from cities and cultural conurbations.
The starting point is the life and work of the Engadine artist Jacques Guidon, who would have turned 95 this year.
The dance theatre takes its audience to HINTERBERGEN, a fictitious place far away from the pulse of time and the big metropolises. It tells of art-making in the Alpine peripheral region – of raging and smashing, of taking off and falling, of strokes of genius and tightrope walks.
The production is being created at the Chesa Gregori in Zuoz, will be premiered in the former hay barn there and then further developed and presented in the Postremise for the theatre stage.
