In the early 18th century, the so-called "academies" emerged - informal meetings at which musicians and intellectuals made music together,
discussed and exchanged their artistic ideas.
This salon culture offered a space for creative development away from courtly traditions. In the concert, the musicians take up the atmosphere of such "academies", present musical works that were created in this spirit and invite you to experience music in its free character.

You can look forward to the sounds of J.G. Janitsch, G.P. Teleman and his pupil J.C. Graupner - composers who kept this tradition alive.
