Konzert «ensemble z» in Valendas

ensemble z has been giving concerts for 25 years and is always led in a variable line-up, with the instrumentation adapted to the corresponding literature and the theme. In 2026, ensemble z will perform in formation with flute and accordion.

The musicians:

Ursina Brun, flute: Ursina Brun completed her training as a music dealer in Chur and Zurich. After further technical work in recorder making, she began studying music, which she completed with a concert diploma. In 2001 she received the Advancement Award of the Canton of Graubünden. She has been teaching at the music school in Chur since 1994 and is a member of the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden. 20 years ago, she founded the musician formation "ensemble z", in which she can live out her passion for chamber music.

Christoph Dobberstein, accordion: Born and raised in Hamburg, he discovered his passion for music at an early age. He received his first piano lessons at the age of eight. But it was the sound of the accordion that really captivated him. This fascination finally led him to study with Goran Kovačević at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, which had a lasting influence on his artistic signature. Today, Christoph Dobberstein combines musical practice with committed teaching and teaches at the music schools in Chur, Davos and Feldkirch (Austria).
