Event San Bernardino Mesolcina Calanca
Laboratorio teatrale estivo
Description
daily
the Moesano Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that a summer theater workshop will be held again this year for girls and boys aged 7 to 12, which will take place from Monday 3 to Friday 7 August 2026, at the Moesano Museum in San Vittore.
The theme of the workshop is "Stories engraved in stone: let's create a cartoon together" and will be led by Gianni Bertossa, born in Rovereda and Zurich by adoption.
Like every year, we will take inspiration from the sections inside the Moesano Museum and this year it will be the turn of archaeology, with a topic very close to us: the "cuppellar boulders", large stones with engravings made by man but with a meaning still unknown today, which have been scattered in our woods since ancient times.
On the basis of this theme, participants will be introduced to the world of animation and will try their hand at inventing symbols, to which they will give their own meaning, and on which they will base a story of their own imagination. The invented symbols will then be painted on stones and backdrops and characters will also be made by hand that will help the narration of the story. Subsequently, using the "stop motion" technique, the stones and other objects will be animated on the backdrops and filmed, creating the previously invented story in the form of an animated drawing. Everything will end with a show for the public on Friday 7 August at 17:00.
