Kalmann, the lovable eccentric in the village of Raufarhöfn high in the rugged north of Iceland is back! Since his father once gave him a cowboy hat with a sheriff's star, he has also been the self-proclaimed sheriff of the village. And as such, he once again has a lot to do: While people in the village are hotly debating the planned salmon farming of the Norwegians, he discovers an old tin box containing a whole pile of money. This arouses desires, and Kalmann is already in the middle of an opaque game. 

Joachim B. Schmidt, who grew up in Cazis and has lived in Iceland since 2007, is reading with us at Buachlada Kunfermann for the 8th time.
