Local Gig Grischa

More than 25 young women, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people have been rehearsing in the band workshops in eight cantons in all four language regions since February 2026. Together with their coaches, they have tinkered with songs and put together a set that they will perform in front of audiences in various Swiss cities in autumn 2026.

Now some of the eight bands are coming to Chur together and conquering the stage. Whether pop, punk, chanson or hip-hop - come by and be inspired!

LINE UP
DenkART (GR)
The young Graubünden band DenkART (Julia, Amélie, Sina and Lavinia) are a newcomer band from Chur. When they are not dyeing each other's hair, they invent new song lines, collect exciting sounds or practice crowdsurfing.
Their music cannot be pigeonholed and their songs are characterized by a creative implementation. The covers range from quiet to rousing pop songs that invite you to dance.
They want to create something that is honest, powerful and authentic and thus finds its way directly into the heart.

Gary and the Ladybugs (ZH)
Six heads, countless instruments and a pretty colorful bunch – from violin, cello and piano to guitar, bass and six voices, we have it all. Although we couldn't be more different, we have found our common energy somewhere between rock and ballad and love to reinvent songs and instruments in our own, sometimes somewhat unusual way. Sometimes loud and energetic, sometimes quiet and dreamy – contrasts are just as much a part of our work as the joy of experimentation and a good dose of humor. Classic rock band? Certainly not – rather six multi-instrumentalists, who sometimes even show up in the band room with a key.

subset (GR)
With piano, guitar and two-part singing, the duo "Subset" (consisting of Sarina and Lisa) plays pop covers in their own, quiet way.
They like it simple and leave plenty of room for voices and melodies. Their arrangements reflect how they feel and understand music.
