Marc Jenny is a bassist with a focus on improvised music, sonic exploration and collective interplay. He works in a variety of musical contexts and understands the bass not only as a foundation, but as an independent voice in musical dialogue. In his playing, he cultivates an open, searching sound language that moves between the poles: supporting bass lines, floating harmonies, shaggy rumbling and scratchy, with a wink. United with his instrument, he balances above the depths, roams through in-between worlds and appreciates their unpredictable dynamics – inside and outside the music.

Drummer Lucas Niggli and bass clarinetist Marc Lardon have known each other for a long time – but they have never performed together in a small line-up. It's high time to change that. The two are masters of free improvisation: everything is created in the moment, without consultation, without a net, for the first time. The result is music of explosive urgency – dense, urgent, with an energy and playfulness that knows no idleness. And in the middle of it all, a humor that comes just as directly from the moment as the intensity itself. Lardon and Niggli are musicians who don't lose track of things and wit even in the freest playing. A concert not to be missed.
