MAYBE A CONCERT

MAYBE A CONCERT is a crazy show and a journey that understands music as a continuously flowing stream and tries to go beyond the boundaries of the individual songs and what they represent.
In the production, songs, multilingual narratives and performance merge into each other. From a free play with different genres and styles, a hybrid, aesthetic universe emerges that feeds on the Mexican folklore tradition, vaudeville as well as Western and pop universes.
The production was created in 2021 in collaboration with the Teatro Sociale Bellinzona and was invited to the Swiss Theatre Meeting, the festival of Switzerland's most outstanding productions, in 2025. With her unmistakable combination of singing and performance, the Ticino singer Raissa Avilés is one of the most exciting artists in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
