MUMMENSCHANZ says "Adieu!"

After 55 years of theatre history, the Swiss mask theatre company MUMMENSCHANZ says goodbye to its audience with the farewell tour "Adieu!". Since 1972, the company has been inspiring people on all continents with its unique playing without words, music or stage design - poetic, timeless and universally understandable.

The programme "Adieu!", put together by Floriana Frassetto, brings together highlights from over five decades of MUMMENSCHANZ: iconic figures, bizarre objects and some new surprising images merge into an imaginative journey full of poetry, quiet comedy and magic. A touching theatre experience for all generations – and the last opportunity in Switzerland to experience a piece of living theatre history live.

The tour starts on 3 December 2026 in Zurich and will lead through 25 theatres throughout Switzerland until the end of 2027.
