Maud only wants to know one thing: Is the painting she bought by chance in a flea market an original by the painter Jackson Pollok? She is convinced of it and has evidence of it. The art expert Percy says no, it's a fake. This leads to a fierce dispute, which soon no longer concerns the question of the authenticity of the picture, but the credibility of the people concerned and what is ultimately important.

In view of the worldwide rampant fake news and deep fake culture, the performance seeks the answer to authenticity in honest and committed play, in which two different people fight for their own truth and existence. Relentless, touching and with wit! Another attempt to understand the world.
