PERESPIV

The choir PERESPIV was founded in Chur in 2023 and is under the direction of Olena Dvorytska. Since its founding, the choir has been delighting audiences with performances in various cities in Switzerland and making the Ukrainian musical and cultural landscape come alive.

The repertoire focuses on traditional Ukrainian folk songs. They are among the most important cultural treasures of Ukraine and have been passed down orally from generation to generation for centuries. In times when language and cultural identity were threatened, these songs made a decisive contribution to preserving history, values and community.

With its concerts, PERESPIV combines musical quality with cultural exchange. The choir invites the Swiss audience to get to know the diversity, emotionality and beauty of Ukrainian choral music, thus creating bridges between people and cultures.
