From 1939 to 1979, solar research was conducted here at the highest level. Take a look at the sun with its prominences. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of astrophysics and learn how the sun was researched 80 years ago. Public tour days at the AOT take place about 10 times each summer half-year. On a public tour day, two tours are generally held. The maximum number of participants per tour is limited to 20 people. Announced tours take place even with little or no sunshine. There is no guarantee of solar observation.
