RTR Premiere "Fa enzatgei dil bien" in Danis

A chance encounter with a Ukrainian refugee family in Tavanasa becomes a decisive moment for Ignaz Derungs. Until then, the man from Surselva had neither a special relationship with Ukraine nor with humanitarian aid. What began as personal help for a single family developed into an organization that today enables help for many people in Ukraine. Ignaz Derungs and his team of volunteers collect everything the war region needs, from clothing, furniture and medicine to machines, heaters and generators. Patrick Capaul's film accompanies the relief supplies from Switzerland to Kharkiv and the people who ensure that the relief supplies get to where they are needed. The result is an impressive story about volunteering, solidarity in action and the power of a single encounter, an encounter that shows how personal help can become a movement.
