Schweizerische Biennale des Amateurtheaters

From 23 to 25 October 2026, the Lower Engadine will once again become the meeting place for Swiss folk theatre. At the end of October, the golden larch forests around the traditional Hotel Scuol Palace and the Fundaziun Nairs will shine and provide the ideal backdrop for a weekend full of theatre, encounters and enjoyment - and this in all four national languages of Switzerland.
It is precisely this linguistic diversity that makes the event so appealing, even if you don't understand the respective language. A fascinating experience that builds bridges between the language regions and shows how unifying theatre can be.
The organising theatre groups from Ftan, Sent and Scuol as well as the four theatre associations FFSTA, FSSI, ZSV and BVV/UTP/AGT are looking forward to welcoming theatre lovers from all language regions of Switzerland to the Lower Engadine.
