Serenadenabend

In the archive of the Stoffelhaus in Fürstenau there was a bundle of wonderful love songs from the 19th century. With them, the audience of Fürstenau and the surrounding area was entertained on festive evenings. Serenades were their name. 

Its content is a romantic program: chaste melancholy, tender kisses and broken roses. Modern: Flirting, dating and more. The music is by Luise Bär, Wilhelm Baumgartner, Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms.

Alma Ganz, piano, and Pascal Ganz, bass-baritone, play and sing song cycles from this genre from body and soul. This time as a highlight: "To the distant beloved" by Beethoven. Entertainment at the highest level. 

The presenter Heini Hagmann will be there. He tells of the background to the songs and to the time of the serenade evenings in the 19th century.
