This year, the Summer Concerts Falera, founded in 1974 by the local Ignaz Cathomen and the Zurich musician couple Elisabeth and Ruedi Weber-Erb, will take place for the 52nd time: a small but fine chamber music festival, which has been held annually since then and enriches the cultural life of the Flims-Laax-Falera region in summer. The concerts take place in the beautiful Romanesque church of St. Remigius in Falera and are well attended year after year. The audience is made up of both locals and holiday guests. Some of them travel especially for the concerts: These guests are offered a special package package, which includes board and lodging as well as admission to all concerts and an aperitif after the concerts.
This year, musicians such as the baritone Äneas Humm, the AMAR QUARTET as well as the trumpeter Immanuel Richter and the organist Immanuel Lee, internationally known greats of the music scene, are on board.
