Stadtführung Fürstenau

Guided tour of the city with Rudolf Küntzel. With a visit to the medieval wall paintings in the Stoffelhaus. Followed by an aperitif, prepared by Casa Caminada in Fürstenau.
In Graubünden, secular wall paintings from this period exist in only 3 places and are therefore unique in art history. The hunting scene gives an insight into how the Bishop of Chur celebrated courtly life in the small town of Fürstenau at that time. During the city tour, the history of the fourth city in Graubünden comes back to life as a transport hub in the Middle Ages and a cultural hotspot in modern times.
