Prof. Olaf Blanke is a neuroscientist at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and at the University Hospital of Geneva, where he holds the Bertarelli Endowed Professorship. His extensive neurological research deals with the phenomenon of out-of-body experiences, near-death experiences, and the perception of deceased persons in the grieving process (after-death experiences).
