«Symphonic Pops» – Festspiele im Schloss

From the soul and R&B of the roaring 60s (Marvin Gaye, Tina Turner) to the symphonic ballads of the 80s (Queen, Whitney Houston) to the world stars of the present (Adele, Coldplay), countless icons can be heard on the same evening. Their songs are interpreted by Louves and Heitz partly as soloists, partly in duets and sound in new, orchestral splendour through the special arrangements by Thomas Kässens. In addition, the purely instrumental pieces not only allow the performer duo a short break, but also offer the band and orchestra the opportunity to be in the spotlight themselves. A show full of musical memories, or in the words of John Miles: Music was my first love!

The game is played in all weathers, except in heavy rain or storms. You can find out whether a performance is cancelled or not on this page from 3:00 p.m. on the day of the performance. In the event of cancellation of a performance, the ticket remains valid for the scheduled alternative date (19 August). If the planned alternative date has to be cancelled after less than 45 minutes of performance due to the weather, the ticket can be exchanged free of charge for a later performance (subject to availability). Alternatively, the ticket will be refunded. A performance is considered played after 45 minutes of play. Tickets for performances that have to be cancelled after 45 minutes of play cannot be exchanged or refunded.
