Tematizzare la Valle Riflessioni sulle forme di vita in Valposchiavo

The PGI Valposchiavo proposes for autumn 2026 a series of public meetings entitled "Thematizing the Valley. Reflections on the forms of life in Valposchiavo". The itinerary will be divided into four appointments, scheduled for Saturday 24 October (Poschiavo Casa Torre), Saturday 31 October (Polo Poschiavo), Saturday 7 November (Poschiavo Casa Torre) and Saturday 14 November 2026 (Brusio Casa Besta), and will be conducted by Patrick A. Huhn.

During the meetings, to which guests and speakers from different fields will also contribute, issues that closely touch valley life will come to the fore: what it means to live in an Alpine space today; how work and forms of production change; how a community builds its own story of itself and measures the relationship between rootedness and openness, between tradition and renewal, between vision and public life.

The second meeting is entitled "How much is the local worth? Food, brands and territorial development" and will address the theme of the local character of a product not only as a purely geographical property but also as an economic, cultural and regulatory construction that requires rules, organizations, agreements and trust.
