Village square concert «Mirage Trombone Quartet»

From June 28 to July 4, Brassweek Samedan brings top-class masterclasses and concert experiences to the Engadine region. International leading brass musicians will not only share their expertise with participants but also captivate audiences with thrilling concerts.

In case of rain, the concert will take place in the Evangelical Church of Sta. Maria in Silvaplana.

About the Mirage Trombone Quartet

The Mirage Trombone Quartet unites four passionate trombonists from Hungary, Switzerland, and Germany who came together at the Basel Academy of Music in September 2024. With their international backgrounds and individual artistic influences, they create a cohesive sound characterized by versatility, expressiveness, and creative energy.

The ensemble sees itself as a musical chameleon: "Mirage" represents adaptable timbres, surprising perspectives, and a repertoire ranging from classical and contemporary works to their own arrangements. What unites them is the joy of musical experimentation and the curiosity to push boundaries – both stylistically and sonically.
