Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Village tour: Valbella
Description
After the damming in 1882, the Heidsee attracted all sorts of people: citizens of Chur, writers (Thomas Mann), artists (Hanna Kiel, Annemarie Schwarzenbach), theologians (Leonhard Ragaz), women's activists (Clara Ragaz, Gertrud Rüegg), and playboys. They built summer villas, constructed hotels, established holiday colonies, operated the adult education center Casoja, and indulged in the Dolce far niente. Discover Valbella and its fleeting guests.
