Event Flims Laax Falera
Vortrag: Wundersame Glühwürmchen
Description
Fireflies are among the most fascinating insects in our landscape. They reliably show how well nature is doing. Where they shine, there are hedges, borders, cairns and flower-rich meadow edges. These important small structures are increasingly disappearing in today's cultural landscape.
In the Casa Cultura Ringel in Trin, Stefan Ineichen, ecologist and writer, will give a lecture on November 8 at 5:00 p.m. about the wondrous world of fireflies and their relationship to cultivated land and small structures. After the lecture, they can enjoy an aperitif, including cider from the drying plant of the Trin Landscape and Fruit Tree Care Association.
The lecture is the last opportunity to visit the travelling exhibition "Ermine from where – where to" by Pro Natura Graubünden at the Casa Cultura in Trin. Using beautiful photographs from the same location, she shows how much our landscape has changed in recent decades.
The exhibition is open at the following times:
- Saturday, October 31: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Punch and Judy theater "Kasperli meets the ermine Lucy" by Gabriella Fink at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Friday 6 November: 14:00 – 17:00
- Sunday, November 8: 14:00 - 17:00 followed by a lecture on the miraculous
Fireflies by Stefan Ineichen, ecologist and writer. Followed by an aperitif with cider from the drying plant of the Trin Landscape and Fruit Tree Care Association.
