**What does a weather warden do?**

We are visiting the weather forecaster. In the morning, the weather must be woken up and prepared for the day, it must be in the right place at the right time, as the weather forecast provides. "Was macht ds Wätter?" is a playful, visually powerful performance with few words for the youngest audience.

Even for the little ones, the weather is an issue after getting up: What to wear when it's cold or raining? Or will the sun give us a really warm day? The dancer Moritz Alfons brings the capers of nature to life through objects, materials and phenomena.

**For young and old**

The production is very suitable for the first theatrical experience. The handling of the objects and materials creates strong images for the very young, which speak directly to them and let them experience theatre magic. For the adult audience, there is a meta-level full of comedy and absurdity in the plot and text and in the handling of the objects.

The weather warden prepares the weather elements for their use to organize today's weather. But the weather is not easy to control, again and again it does what it wants and the weather warden has his hands full getting the chaos under control. Because the sun is excited and wants to play, the five clouds have to be in the sky at the same time, the sky doesn't always want to be in the background, and where is the rain? There should be rain today!

Emily Magorrian already had the opportunity to specialise in working for the youngest audience during her Scottish bachelor's degree. She has collaborated with two of the leading European groups in the field, Starcatchers and Imaginate.

As a theatre teacher, director and actor, Luzius Engel realises numerous projects with children and for children of all ages.

Together, they work to provide parents and their young children with a shared artistic experience. They should experience theatre that is full of beauty and fantasy and that makes them laugh and marvel at the same things. A theatre that meets the needs of young children.
