The Pignia weaving stable opens its doors in summer to all those who want to try weaving. You can get to know weaving with the Schiffli on prepared looms and get started right away - without any previous knowledge. In the process, the first small fabrics, coloured patterns or textile experiments are created in a playful way. The rhythmic work on the loom has a calming and at the same time invigorating effect: Inserting threads, kicking, throwing, casting – step by step, a piece of fabric grows under your hands. If you want, you can take small works home with you.
The offer is aimed at adults, young people and children alike. A smaller loom is available for children. Whether just for a short trial visit or the whole half-day in the cool stable - everyone is welcome.
