Wildlife watching beaver

A Swiss Ranger accompanies you on the beaver tour in Vilters or in Giessenpark in Bad Ragaz. The rager will guide you to the beaver lodge and with a bit of luck you will be able to witness the animals at work.

The active beavers in the Kiesfang near Vilters and in the Giessenpark near Bad Ragaz are awake when most people are asleep, which is why the beaver tours begin in the evening. A Swiss Ranger leads the way to where the beavers are at work. Beavers are excellent builders and can build impressive dams out of twigs, sticks and mud to dam up rivers and streams and shape their habitats. With a bit of luck, you can watch the beavers at work or foraging for food.
The tours will take place as follows:

Individual group tours up to max. 40 people possible on request (Up to 20 people CHF 240.00 for the whole group, 21-40 people CHF 440.00 for the whole group)
