Description
At the gondola’s upper station, the panoramic restaurant welcomes you with breathtaking views and alpine hospitality. It’s easily accessible by gondola and serves as the starting or ending point for the Gadastatt–Frunt–Zerfreila panoramic trail, as well as for the Gadastatt–Leis–Vals hike.
In the summer, children can have fun at the playground, which features a swing, sandbox, and slide.
The gondola ride from Vals to Gadastatt and back is free for everyone. The gondola takes a lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Public Transport
Take the SBB to Chur, then the RhB from Chur to Ilanz, and finally the PostBus for the last 20 km from Ilanz to Vals.
PostBus stop: Bergbahn (mid-June through mid-October).
Directions
From Chur via Flims–Laax to Ilanz; in Ilanz, turn toward Vals.
Parking
Paid parking lot at the Vals Mountain Railway (CHF 8/day).
