Cosy café with conservatory, terrace and view of the village square of Castasegna. In addition to homemade sweet treats, there are local specialties and food.
Description
From July to October there are delicious dishes from the summer menu. The chestnut ice cream is particularly recommended.
The house specialty is the chestnut cake, winner of the silver medal at the swiss bakery trophy 2006. The nut cake won the gold medal in 2008.
Numerous local chestnut specialties can be tasted during the annual Festival della Castagna in October. E.g. cakes, ice cream, cookies, pasta, liqueur and beer.
