Description
Our house Chasa Perspectiva is located in the centre of Lavin, a small, hospitable mountain village in the middle of the rustic Lower Engadine. Within 1-3 minutes walk from the accommodation you will find the train station with bistro, the VOLG village shop with tourist information and post office, a hotel with restaurant, the bakery Giacometti with a café, a small sports field/ice rink, an original children's playground and various small businesses including our bike stop and the guitar workshop.
The apartments are all located in the large apartment building in the village center. Except for the Chasina, which is about a 10-minute walk away on the other side of the river.
Tea towels are provided in all accommodations. Towels must be brought along. Bed linen can be booked for an extra charge.
We are a non-smoking and pet-free property.
Lavin is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, fishing or kayaking on the Inn. The beautiful section of the river of Lavin-Scuol is one of the most popular kayak routes in Europe! The hiking trails and bike routes start right outside the front door. For example, the youngest part of the Swiss National Park, the beautiful Macun Lakes, can be hiked in just over three hours directly from the accommodation. The location is also ideal in winter. For example, a beautiful cross-country ski trail leads along the Inn and with snowshoes you can be on idyllic forest paths in just a few minutes. The nearest ski area is in Scuol and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car or train. Within 45-60 minutes you can also reach the large ski areas of St. Moritz and Klosters/Davos. The famous Schellen-Ursli mountain village of Guarda can also be seen from the accommodation and can be reached in about 45-60 minutes on foot.
