Ferienhaus Fanas

The beautiful, 300-year-old 4.5-room Walserhaus was renovated in 2010 with attention to detail and a great sensitivity to the traditional. It is idyllically located in the village center of Fanas, at about 900 m above sea level, is comfortably furnished and surrounded by a 1000m2 plot with flower meadows and trees. Adjacent to the agricultural zone, absolute peace and foresight characterize this location. Fanas, with its almost 400 inhabitants, lies fog-free in summer and winter on a wind-protected, sunny terrace on the southern slope of the 2307 m high Sassauna. The village has a grocery store (Volg) and various restaurants. Washer and dryer are available. Bed linen, blankets, hand and bath towels are provided. In summer, Fanas and the cable car are the starting point for wonderful hikes. The cable car takes you all year round in 13 minutes to the Maiensäss Eggli, at an altitude of 1700 m above sea level, where you can enjoy the wonderful panorama on the terrace of the Sassauna mountain restaurant. The family-friendly ski resort of Grüsch-Danusa is just a 5-minute drive away. The ski area offers fantastic and snow-sure winter holidays for skiers, cross-country skiers, winter hikers, sledders, snowshoers and ski tourers. The house consists of the main house and an attached, directly connected 50 sqm studio with a separate entrance.
