Welcome to the Cuncalada holiday home!
Your host is Gustav Loretan. He will hand you the keys, explain everything important in the house and be available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. Please contact me at least three days before your arrival to arrange the time of key collection.
LOCATION
The house is 50 meters next to a bus stop with hourly connections to the national border and to Scuol, also suitable for holidays without a car. Our village has a PRIMO shop, there you can find almost everything (open Monday to Saturday, closed Mon and Sat afternoon).
RENT
The rent varies depending on the season.
Included are the use of the apartment and garden, laundry of bed, bathroom, kitchen. In addition to the apartment rent, you pay a tax tourism card. With this you are entitled to free use of public transport throughout the Lower Engadine, as well as limited rides on mountain railways. Further information on this can be found on the Internet at Guest Card Valsot.
The final cleaning costs Fr. 150, we assume a normal degree of soiling. If a major cleaning is necessary, this would have to be charged separately. These costs also cover bath and bed linen, electricity and heating costs.
If you need anything extra, please feel free to contact me: for bath and deck towels, raclette and fondue set, sledges, bicycles, high chairs, etc. Literature, games and other bad-weather activities are also available. I am also happy to give you ideas on what to do on excursions.
Internet is available. You can find the Wi-Fi password in the information sheet on site. The cell phone connection in the house is good. Smoking is prohibited in the entire house. Smoking is permitted in the garden. Candles are not allowed for reasons of fire risk. Pets by arrangement.
GOING OUT / EATING
In the information sheet on site you will find tips for restaurants, excursions, hikes, etc.
Apartment 2 Upper Floor
You have a bright 3 1/2 room apartment at your disposal.
Ventilation is not necessary; the main room has a comfort ventilation system that is constantly in operation. If you do want to do this, ventilate intensively and across the apartment and remember to close all windows again.
The house is locked with a central locking system. Your badge allows you to enter the house and your apartment. You will be given as many badges as you need for yourself and your relatives upon signature.
APARTMENT: The wooden furniture made of old stable wood contributes a lot to the pleasant atmosphere. Please take care of this by not placing glasses and cups on them; use the dining and club table. Thank you..
KITCHEN: Here is a new combination with oven, GS and all the necessary equipment and dishes. A moka pot (screw-top coffee) is available. This requires ground coffee.
You have to bring your own food. A small selection of spices, oil and vinegar is provided. Please note that the pans are PFAS free, but are not suitable for frying at a very high temperature (max. level 7). You can still fry meat without any problems.
You can dispose of compost at the back entrance in the green kettle or directly on the compost heap under the pear tree.
Garbage is placed in yellow bags of the municipality, one is always available at the beginning of the lease.
BATHROOM: after showering/bathing, it is advisable to leave the door open for a while.
GARDEN: The garden is at your disposal with barbecue area, table and chairs and deckchairs.
