Description

Alp Nurdagn is a farmed mountain pasture set amidst a moorland landscape of national importance. As well as accommodation (max. 23 people), guests can enjoy simple cuisine featuring regional products (see conditions/extras).

Sleep at over 2,000 metres above sea level – tranquillity and clear, starry skies! The day begins with a hearty alpine breakfast.

Excursions to Alp Nurdagn are popular among mountaineers, cyclists, hikers, nature lovers, families with children and those who simply fancy a gentle stroll (with the help of the BusAlpin). There are numerous mountain lakes within a short walk of the hut! A path leads directly to the SAC´s Cufercal hut, a two-hour walk from Alp Nurdagn. The Zillis - Alp Nurdagn - Lai da Vons - Sufers route can also be tackled by mountain bike!

Prices

> Discount for children up to the age of 17.
> Non-smoking rooms.
> Dogs are not permitted in the dormitory.
> It is vital that you bring a sleeping bag if staying in the dormitory (also available to purchase on arrival). Sleeping bags are not required in the 6-bed room.
> Baggage transport to Alp Nurdagn by prior arrangement.

The Alp can be reached by the “Bus alpin” (via Wergenstein-Tguma, http://www.busalpin.ch/de/regionen/naturpark-beverin.html). Alternatively, you can drive from Wergenstein to the Tguma car park, having purchased a car permit for CHF 10 (valid for max. 3 days). From there it is about a 30-minute walk.

Food and drink: self-catering is not possible. Simple cuisine featuring regional produce. An alpine breakfast (alpine cheese, butter and other home-made products) and evening meal are included in the price. Drinking water (spring water) is provided.

‘Bathrooms´: 2 'standard' WCs and washing facilities (sink and running water) are available. There are no showers at Alp Nurdagn!
