By car, take the motorway A3 to Chur and drive upward to Arosa in approx. 45 minutes on a narrow winding road. Attention! In winter you will need winter tires as well as snow chains, depending on weather conditions.

In Arosa, follow the road uphill to the centre. Drive past the small Coop, the Wunderbar and the Los and turn left into the road that leads downhill past Didis' Bluemelade. Follow the road to the junction. Turn left downhill, past the Hof Arosa and then down the narrow road, round the bend and you will see the Waldheim in front of you.

By train, take the Intercity Express to Chur. From there, the scenic Rhaetian Railway whisks you up to Arosa (trains run hourly). Check www.sbb.ch for timetable. When in Arosa you can take a taxi or a romantic horse-drawn sledge.
