Description

The start is at the valley station Brigels heading towards Waltensburg Curtginet - alternatively also in Waltensburg or Andiast. The natural road, almost without inclines, is perfect for warming up. Throughout the route, you can orient yourself by the "D" trail markings. At Hotel Ucliva, follow the signpost towards Andiast and the "D" signage. The main road leads into the village of Andiast. In the center of the village, turn left before the Volg into the alpine road and follow the trail markings to Resgia Gneida (old sawmill). Then continue on enjoyable alpine roads over Canischauna and Burleun. At the latest here, a nice view over Brigels opens up. At "Plumarscha" you follow the "PrauTgierv". It continues over a mountain road to the fireplace "Plaun da Pors/Rumasal". Then the route leads over the bridge, along the right path "Survitg", back to the village of Brigels.

Hidden Gem

If you want to include a singletrail, you can ride about 300 meters uphill along the road from Burleun and then take the hiking trail towards Chischarolas (fireplace). It is moderate and good for technically skilled riders.

The loop via Alp Dado and Burleun can also be skipped. Between Fop and Fischalettas, the ascent and descent routes almost meet. There you can easily shorten the route.

From Resgia Gneida (old sawmill), you can attach an excursion on the alpine road into Val Ladral. The valley is a landscape gem and you will also find a nice barbecue spot for a lunch break. There and back are about 2-3 kilometers and 100 meters of elevation, depending on how far you ride into the valley.

Safety Note

In case of uncertain weather conditions, the route should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar approaches during the route, you should turn back in time.

Respect other trail users - trail tolerance!
