Description

The panorama tour starts in the center of Lenzerheide and initially follows a forest path towards the Sanaspans waterfall. Along the way, views of the surrounding slopes open up repeatedly through shaded sections. A short stop is offered at the waterfall before the route continues to the Scharmoin mountain restaurant. Here begins the transition into the open landscape of the Scharmoin Alp, where livestock of local farmers graze in summer.

From Scharmoin, the hike follows the panorama trail along the Rothorn valley side. This section defines the character of the tour: wide views of the mountain range opposite and the Heidsee in the valley floor. The altitude also allows a clear view into the surrounding valleys and conveys a sense of vastness. The path curves gently to the Oberberg, where the landscape changes again and the route leads towards Uf em Tschugga. A stopover is possible here before descending.

The return route leads back to Lenzerheide via Parpan and Valbella. Open meadows alternate with short forest sections. The tour combines landscape diversity with impressive panoramas and shows the typical character of the region: a mix of alpine cultural landscape and natural sections. Historical elements recede into the background, while nature with its contrasts between waterfalls, alpine meadows, and mountain panorama is in the foreground.
