Details

Description

The route starts comfortably with the Languard chairlift from Pontresina to Alp Languard. This is also where the ascent begins on the flank of Las Sours up to the Segantini Hut. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are a must for the entire route! After a refreshment, the steep ascent crosses scree fields up to the summit. As the name already suggests (Las Sours stands for sisters in Romansh), the summit consists of several elevations. Only the first summit is accessible; the other summits are left to the climbing experts, the ibex. Enjoy the view again before the steep descent. Instead of descending directly to the Languard chairlift, the path leads on the Senda dal Stambuoch below Piz Muragl towards Piz Languard. At the junction, turn right down to the Languard chairlift and take it comfortably back down.
