Description

From the Promulins Arena, the route leads via Samedan to Muntarütsch, where the ascent to Alp Muntatsch begins. Even before reaching the alp, you are treated to a magnificent view of the Bernina massif and over St. Moritz to Piz da la Margna. If you have time, you can take a break at Alp Muntatsch; an absolute insider tip is the homemade Kaiserschmarrn. From Alp Muntatsch, it goes relatively flat to Alp Munt, then along the panoramic trail below Piz Padella further in the direction of the Marguns mountain station. From there, it goes downhill via Cristolais and back to Samedan, where the starting point, the Promulins Arena, is reached. Those who want to shorten the route can turn off at Alp Munt and go directly on the technically demanding trail through the forest to the San Peter cemetery and to Samedan.
