Description

The route starts in St. Moritz Bad at the Ovaverva indoor pool. Just behind the indoor pool, turn left, pass the children's paradise and ascend following the forest road until the signpost "Alp Staz", which turns right. There you can choose whether to continue running on the forest road or to take the trail that also runs through the forest parallel to the forest road. Alp Staz is a large meadow with a small hut. Upon reaching Alp Staz (signpost directly at the river), go a short way downhill across the meadow and then turn right over the bridge, continuing gently downhill. The forest road leads downhill towards Stazersee (Lej da Staz). At the next junction, turn left towards Hotel/Restaurant Stazersee. It is worth taking a moment there to enjoy the view over the lake before the trail leads around Stazersee to the dairy and further on to Lake St. Moritz. Either left or right around Lake St. Moritz, both paths lead back to the starting point.
