Description
The route starts in St. Moritz Bad at the Ovaverva indoor swimming pool. Shortly past the pool, turn left, pass the children's paradise, and continue up following the forest road to the signpost "Alp Staz," which leads off to the right. Here you can choose whether to continue running on the forest road or take the trail, which runs parallel through the forest. Alp Staz is a large meadow with a small hut. Upon arriving at Alp Staz (signpost right by the river), go down a short stretch across the meadow and then turn right over the bridge, continuing slightly downhill. The forest road leads downhill toward Stazersee (Lej da Staz). At the next junction, turn left toward Hotel/Restaurant Stazersee. It’s worth briefly enjoying the view over the lake here before the trail circles the Stazersee to the dairy and continues to the St. Moritzersee. You can circle the St. Moritzersee either to the left or right; both paths lead back to the starting point.
