Description

Just below Alp Tannenboden, at the start of the cross-country ski trails, you follow the winter hiking trail opposite the Sennenstube restaurant towards Mittenwald. This leads through a small, romantic forest. After this forest, turn left, past some snow-covered holiday homes, to the Mittenwald ski lift. Once there, you will find the Flumserberg indoor swimming pool on the left.

Hidden Gem

At the end of the hike, there is the Flumserberg indoor swimming pool, which is also very suitable for families. Afterwards, you can take the post bus free of charge back to the starting point Tannenboden.

Public Transport

Travel by train to Unterterzen and then up with the Unterterzen - Tannenboden aerial cableway


Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke with transfer to the S4 to Unterterzen


Daily from St. Gallen directly to Unterterzen with the S4


Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt with transfer to bus 444 to Unterterzen


From Unterterzen, the 8-seater gondola takes you directly to Flumserberg to the Tannenboden valley station LUFAG.


Travel by train to Flums and post bus to Flumserberg Tannenboden


Daily to Flums or Sargans, then continue with bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the Tannenboden cable car stop.

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.

Parking

Public parking spaces are available at Tannenboden.


The parking spaces are chargeable from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., you may park free of charge.


From 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., there is a night parking ban. There are enough night parking spaces in the Tannenboden car park or in the Tannenheim.


The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
