Details
Description
Ardez is located at the foot of the "Muot da l’Hom," which will be climbed on this route. Around 1050 meters of elevation are covered on this scenic route. East of Ardez train station, you start uphill through the village. After 100 meters, turn left. Then cross the main road, pass the cemetery and the church. Always heading northwest or uphill, follow the signposts to Munt. You pass through the scattered settlement of mountain pastures and continue along the alp road to Alp Murtera Dadoura. You bypass this on the left side and follow the signs towards Maranguns. From Maranguns, the highest point of the hike, Chamonna Cler, becomes visible. Here, a short detour to the idyllic mountain lake Lai Raduond is worthwhile.
The descent from Chamonna Cler offers views from Scuol to Susch. After Munt, you then follow the ascent route again back to the endpoint of the route in Ardez.
Hidden Gem
