The route leads from the station to the Isel and then follows a mountain hiking trail to the Alteinsee. After a rest, the ascent to the Valbellahorn follows. Since the mountain trail does not follow a ridge, the summit is safe and accessible via a marked route. After enjoying the summit, the descent follows the same route.

Along the cantonal road to Arosa. The route starts at Arosa train station close to parking options.

Parking

At the village entrance, there is a large signpost with various parking options. The Ochsenbühl parking garage offers nearby garage parking about a 5-minute walk from the train station. Alternatively, the Obersee parking lots are available, directly behind the station.
