Description
After a short flat warm-up, it goes steeply uphill towards Scheia. Past Haldenhaus, you walk over alpine meadows above the Buhaul memorial, near the rock face towards the Bargis high valley. After a short enjoyable view into the valley, it goes over a hiking trail and then a singletrail to the ruin. Once at the top, you enjoy a breathtaking view over the Flims Laax Falera region. With the impressions of the ruin, it goes over a steep mountain path towards Trin Mulin. At an altitude of 1146 m a.s.l., it goes back to Fidaz over rolling terrain. Along the ridge path, you occasionally catch a glimpse of the turquoise blue Cauma Lake.
Hidden Gem
Take a few minutes at the ruin and enjoy the wide view. Very beautiful in the evening light!
Safety Note
The last few steps up to the ruin require some surefootedness. The same goes for a few sections of the ridge path.
