Description
After a few short flat warm-up meters, it goes steeply up towards Scheia. Past the Haldenhaus you walk over alpine meadows above the Buhaul memorial site, close to the rock face towards the Bargis high valley. After a short, enjoyable view into the valley, it goes via a hiking trail and subsequent single trail to the ruin. Once at the top, you enjoy a breathtaking view over the Flims Laax Falera region. With impressions of the ruin, it goes over a steep mountain path towards Trin Mulin. At an altitude of 1146m above sea level, it goes back to Fidaz on undulating terrain. Along the high trail, you catch a glimpse now and then of the turquoise-blue Caumasee.
Hidden Gem
Take a few minutes at the ruin and enjoy the wide view. Very beautiful in the evening light!
Safety Note
The last few steps up to the ruin require some sure footing. The same applies to a few sections of the high trail.
